January 2008

Newsletter

One year ends and another begins- out with the old and in with the new-one door closes and another door opens. Anyway you look at it we are at the date of Jan 1, 2008, and not to long ago we were all going to party like it’s 1999.

Time goes by and it goes by fast. It seems that the older I get the faster it goes. Where does it go? Where does it come from? This can’t be answered. The only truth is that it is now, and in an instant what was now is no longer now, but then. Then it is now again and then again, now is past and so on and so on. It is said that the reason man kind marks time is to keep track of change, for if there were no change at all- then there would be no need for time. Whatever!!

Anyway you look at this..We are on Earth now and this is our time. Our time, mine and yours and everyone’s. This is the only time we get here. Pretty deep stuff. Each one of us has only a certain number of days on Earth. What we do with this time is each person’s business. Since we all only have so much time then it would seem to me that we should make the most of it. And here we have another question: Is my making the most of it the same as yours or is it different? Sometimes the same and sometimes not. We all have some good times and we all have some bad times, happy times, sad times, all there at the same time. We mark time many ways-clocks, watches, radios, and calendars. We even build large towers and put clocks in the top of them for all to look at to see what time it is. Really a lot of time is taken to mark something we can’t touch, see, smell or really explain fully. With every breath you take, every beat of your hear, and bat of your eyes you get a bit closer to the end of your time. As we all know when your time comes, that is it. It is over. What is time worth? Hourly wages- we get paid for our time, sometimes, sometimes not, but all of our time is worth something. At the end of it all, what would you pay for just a little more time?

I really could set here and go on and on about this subject, but I really don’t have the time! Good Luck with your time and use it to have a Good New Year!!
